While the second Hallmark Christmas cruise just docked in the port of Miami, the company was quick to announce good news on the same day: there will be another cruise in 2025. It will sail from November 6 to 10, from Miami to Cozumel for 4 days. #Hallmarkies hurry, pre-sale registrations are already open!
A record-breaking success
In July 2023, Hallmark announces its first-ever Christmas cruise, scheduled for the end of the following year. While no actor or even schedule was revealed, the ship, which could accommodate just over 2,300 passengers, was sold out in a few hours. Two weeks later, the company replicates the impressive feat by selling out all the cabins of a second ship. And 60,000 hopeful people joined the waiting list, keeping their fingers crossed for over 18 months for the chance to go on board.
Everything we know about the Hallmark Christmas Cruise 2025.
The biggest change is undoubtedly the Norwegian Joy, the ship chartered for this cruise. The newly refurbished fleet can accommodate over 3,700 passengers on board. That’s almost double the number of people who could board on the first cruises. In size, the Joy is almost twice as big too! And here I was, constantly getting lost on the Gem… So we can assume (and hope) that there will only be one cruise in 2025.
Goodbye Bahamas, hello Mexico! The Hallmark Christmas Cruise 2025 will call on the Caribbean island of Cozumel. This is a renowned destination for scuba diving. Guests can take advantage of the magnificent white-sand beaches or explore the Mayan city of Tulum on a day trip.
While the price of an interior cabin started at USD $950 and a balcony cabin cost USD $1,395 in 2024, the lowest-priced cabin costs USD $1,370 and a balcony USD $1,900 per person. These prices are for two passengers. Some cabins can accommodate five people, which reduces costs. There are many more accommodation options on this new ship.
What remains the same compared to the Hallmark Christmas Cruise 2024.
Hallmark renews its partnership with Sixthman, the theme-cruise leaders, who were largely responsible for organizing the two cruises. They handled all animation, activities and safety arrangements.
The website already provides details of the typical festive schedule on board. It’s listed as subject to change, but the majority of the party events are the same, and most of the highly popular activities are returning. These include karaoke, cookie decorating, ugly sweater contest, gifts exchange, Hallmark movie premiere, panels with the stars, etc. Chances are, more exciting details will be announced in the future.
The magical vacation will last three and a half days, divided into a day at sea, a port day and a day at sea. Embarkation on the first day begins in the early afternoon, with disembarkation on the forth day in the early morning.
No hint as to which stars will be taking part. I hope that the wonderful host, Jonathan Bennett, will repeat his performance.
