In your post you say “Victoria Island”. Victoria is a city, on Vancouver Island.

Thank you so much for putting together all the information and photos of the locations for the film “It Was Always You”. I only came across this film last month (I’m in London, UK) and fell in love with it. Victoria, BC looks absolutely stunning and the private home used as George and David’s family home is simply breathtaking. I’ve been to Seattle many times but never made it up to Victoria. It’s now on my bucket list of places to visit Thanks again!

Hi Maureen,

Thanks so much for your kind words. I’m so happy you enjoyed my post. Loved scouting for this one and when I was there I haven’t found them all.
Especially George’s home, it was serendipity that led me to find this place years later. I’ll have to go back to Victoria now haha.

I lived on Vashon Island, WA for over 30 years and truly love the Pacific Northwest. My husband’s and my goto vacation spot was Victoria BC which we visited countless times over the years. I, too, fell in love with “It was always you”. Thank you for sharing the wonderful locations filmed in the movie. George’s family home is truly a beautiful place inside and out. I particularly loved the all white decor of the interior with floor to ceiling windows overlooing the gorgeous view. I was hoping find more distinct pictures off the interior decor as I want to use it as inspiration for my own home. Thanks again for finding and sharing the films locations.
